Which unions are involved in Hollywood film and television production?

Many of them, because making a movie requires a lot of different skills, and almost every kind of skilled worker has their own union.

If you only want to know about the actors’ unions, that would be SAG (the Screen Actors Guild) for movie actors, and AFTRA (the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists) for TV actors.

   There are a lot of different unions and guilds involved in productions and not all shows are union shows. Some of the biggest are: AFTRA, SAG, WGA, PGA, IATSE and Teamsters.
