If I have a television pilot/ idea to present to a network or production, would it be best to have a lawyer?

even though I’m not an established writer.

   It would be best to get a television lit agent.

   Networks and production companies will all except material from recognized agents. "Ideas" are a dime a dozen. They want to see completed killer scripts.
