How could I get a development deal from a film studio or production company by submitting a treatment?

I do not have an agent and I am unknown, but my treatments are good. I have submitted treatments to agencies before - and it seems like a waste of time…

It is funny but everyone uses the word treatment ever since
Kramer said it on Seinfeld.

In all honesty it may be you using the word treatment too much.

An agent wont touch you until you are bankable.
A studio wont give you any money to make your movie
so that agents will fight over you to sign you up with a fat
contract.
A production companies are all busy or owned by directors/writers/actors whatever you need all three to make
one of these happen….right?

Studios/agents/actors get scripts thrown at them everyday
really thrown at them ,while there eating, in the mail and just the random nut job that says his script is the next Titanic.

How do you make yours stand out…What next???

a lot of movies were plays or books first.
or a friend of mine started a production company about a
year ago and has many projects in the works and completed
I have even been in one of his movies.

There are more options than you think but seriously quit it with the treatment thing people will laugh at you…sorry but
that may be why people don't even read your scripts,
They don't think you are being serious.
