    Founded by Chan Koon-chung and John Shum Kin-fun, Maverick Films Ltd is one of the creative force in HK during 1980s, with a variety of films like “People’s Hero”, “The Heart is that Eternal Rose”, “Eight Taels of Gold”, etc.

    BTW, if your confused about my last comment, I was talking about the name of Gar Bo films. I have a cat named Garbo, and the name for Gar Bo was a seprated verson of our cats name.

    Samo Hung also got a share in Gar Bo (others being Karl Maka and Lau Ka Wing), which is the first film company he established. Then later Bojon, Bo Ho and D & B Films (named after jewellery magnate “D”ickson Poon and him - Hung Kam “B”o), and the rest is history.

    The 3 lines of chinese wordings in both SB idents actually means:
