how can i start my career in film post production.?
I m very much intrested in Post production for ex the naming on the movie, editing, backgrounds etc
Look on craigslist for gigs with independent film makers and if nothing else work as an intern through your college or university.
Most local shoots do not include much post work, however with the advent of video to film, you can experience some post work compiling the "one-light" prints (which now are videos) for the director and DP to view.
Later, after you have a good network in place, you may be invited to the actual editing phase of making a film. Until then, just try to get on the set and be helpful and learn as much as you can about all aspects of film making.
