His career would have been drastically different. After Psycho, it was really hard for him to find work because everybody ociated him with the movie. You should watch “Fear Strikes Out” if you can find it. He was phenomenal in that movie.

Anthony Perkins …
Anthony Perkins struggled for a long time (mentally). Alot of the cast members of Psycho said that he was forever Norman Bates. Norman was “trapped” in the movie, being controlled by his domineering mother. Anthony was “trapped” being a bisexual in a time where it wasn’t welcomed.

This documentary is …
This documentary is biasd and very partial. It only concentrated on the movie Psycho and just wanted to extend the story and stretch the truth out of the parellel of this film to his life. Mr. Perkins was only typecasted in the U.S. film world but in europe, he acted different roles.

I sometimes wonder how his career as an actor would have been different without Psycho. He was fabulous, one of the old school I suppose, like Brando and Dean. One of a kind.
