Could someone give me an idea how to handle this?

Hello Ladies,

I am new to this board, but have what is likely to be a strange question. I have three children,7, 3.5 and 1.5. Each of my dd’s were preemies, 36w, 32w, and 31w1d. I had a tl in late March ‘06, not because I didn’t want another baby, but because I didn’t want to have another preemie.

A week and a half ago I started having strange dreams. One specifically stands out. My Nana, who has been deceased for nearly three years, "came" to me in this dream and told me that I am pregnant with twins and to remember how much everyone around me is going to give up so that I can have these babies. Each dream after that one has pointed to me being pregnant. (Each time I get pregnant I dream it first, in some fashion or another, and the dreams progress until delivery. Also, the dreams always start shortly after conception, which would be the case in this situation as well.)

My last AF was 01/01/2007-01/07/2007 (my periods are normally 3 to 5 weeks long and very heavy since my tl) and was medium to light flow. Because my AF’s are so weird (normal for me now) I don’t even know when I would be due for my next AF.

What I’m looking for is advice on how to handle this situation and if anyone else has had dreams like mine that preceed pregnancy?

Any help will be greatly appreciated and received.

Thanks

wow. that is interesting.
I did not find out I was pregnant until I was 10 days past my cycle. But I had the strangest dreams right from the time of conception.
None that pointed out my pregnancy. But just very vivid, different dreams. So unreal what the body can do.
I hope that everything works out ok for you. If you have twins on the way I wish you the best and I hope you can enjoy and embrace this as it comes.
You are already a wonderful mother…you can handle this. Be strong, take deep breaths.
Good luck. Wishing the best for you.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean when you say you are looking for advice "how to handle this situation?"
    What is the situation exactly?

You said had a "tl" which I am assuming means "Tubal Ligation" in March 2006, so you are not likely to get pregnant now or in the future. A lot of women start thinkign they are and then talk themselves into it. Tubal ligations are pretty sure things these days.

And you’ve had three children — that’s a big family! Three little blessings. They probably keep you pretty busy, right?

You had a dream you were having twins, but you don’t want to get pregnant again, right, because you had three premature infants? That must have been really difficult. I don’t know what is an "AF"? But if your period was only 2 weeks ago, there is no almost no way you could be pregnant now. I think its just wishful thinking.

Anyway, I hope my answer helped and that you get what you need. Sometimes a dream is just a dream.
