Please Do Not do it, Realize That Porn Destroys, See what it has done to the Lives of those who were involved in the industry in this video

Dead Porn Stars Memorial www.shelleylubben.com
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0q_VGacfNk

By far, the most searched for terms on the internet are related to pornography. Pornography is rampant in the world today. Perhaps more than anything else, Satan has succeeded in twisting and perverting sex. He has taken what is good and right (loving sex between a husband and wife) and replaced it with lust, pornography, adultery, rape, and homosexuality. Pornography can be the first step on a very slippery slope of ever-increasing wickedness and immorality (Romans 6:19). The addictive nature of pornography is well documented. Just as a drug user must consume greater and more powerful quantities of drugs to achieve the same “high,” pornography drags a person deeper and deeper into hard-core sexual addictions and ungodly desires.

The three main categories of sin are the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). Pornography definitely causes us to lust after flesh, and it is undeniably a lust of the eyes. Pornography definitely does not qualify as one of the things we are to think about, according to Philippians 4:8. Pornography is addictive (1 Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19), and destructive (Proverbs 6:25-28; Ezekiel 20:30; Ephesians 4:19). Lusting after other people in our minds, which is the essence of pornography, is offensive to God (Matthew 5:28). When habitual devotion to pornography characterizes a person’s life, it demonstrates the person is not saved (1 Corinthians 6:9).

For those involved in pornography, God can and will give the victory. Are you involved with pornography and desire freedom from it? Here are some steps to victory: 1) Confess your sin to God (1 John 1:9). 2) Ask God to cleanse, renew, and transform your mind (Romans 12:2). 3) Ask God to fill your mind with Philippians 4:8. 4) Learn to possess your body in holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4). 5) Understand the proper meaning of sex and rely on your spouse alone to meet that need (1 Corinthians 7:1-5). 6) Realize that if you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). 7) Take practical steps to reduce your exposure to graphic images. Install pornography blockers on your computer, limit television and video usage, and find another Christian who will pray for you and help keep you accountable.

I am doing a project and can’t for the life of me find any information on the current issues/challenges that Film and television production are facing.
if any one could help this would be greatly appreciated!

The big issue is money. There’s always an endless amount of creative people wishing to make movies, the limited resource is professional talent - veteran crew and actors you can bank on to make a good movie won’t exactly work for free…

Hollywood Studio movies are doing pretty well, but these are actually the minority of the industry, volume-wise. TV and independent films are suffering badly, people in the biz say that indie productions have been virtually wiped off the map - investing in movie is a very risky venture (most likely it will flop…), and these days no one wants to put their money in that anymore. TV, as said, is challenged by the internet and is trying to find its viewership.

Look for more info at variety.com
Also search dvinfo.net and you can politely ask questions in the forums there and get good answers.
You may subscribe to the students-basics forum at http://www.cinematography.net/index.htm . You could then ask the industry professionals themselves, but be _very_ polite.

While the President said every idea must be considered, the idea of creating a single-payer national health insurance program has already been rejected. White House spokesperson Robert Gibbs said Thursday, “The President doesn’t believe that’s the best way to achieve the goal of cutting costs and increasing access.”

Initially, no supporters of single payer were invited to the summit. After protests were called, the White House invited Democratic Congressman John Conyers and the president of the Physicians for a National Health Program.

Major newspaper, broadcast and cable stories mentioning healthcare reform in the week leading up to President Barack Obama’s March 5 healthcare summit rarely mentioned the idea of a single-payer national health insurance program, according to a new FAIR study. And advocates of such a system–two of whom participated in yesterday’s summit–were almost entirely shut out, FAIR found.

Single-payer–a model in which healthcare delivery would remain largely private, but would be paid for by a single federal health insurance fund (much like Medicare provides for seniors, and comparable to Canada’s current system)–polls well with the public, who preferred it two-to-one over a privatized system in a recent survey (New York Times/CBS, 1/11-15/09). But a media consumer in the week leading up to the summit was more likely to read about single-payer from the hostile perspective of conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer than see an op-ed by a single-payer advocate in a major U.S. newspaper.

Over the past week, hundreds of stories in major newspapers and on NBC News, ABC News, CBS News, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NPR and PBS’s NewsHour With Jim Lehrer mentioned healthcare reform, according to a search of the Nexis database (2/25/09-3/4/09). Yet all but 18 of these stories made no mention of "single-payer" (or synonyms commonly used by its proponents, such as "Medicare for all," or the proposed single-payer bill, H.R. 676), and only five included the views of advocates of single-payer–none of which appeared on television.

Fox Remains #2 Cabler With Top 11 News Programs

As the Fox News Channel continues to be berated by America’s new president along with his Party and liberal media minions, the cable network keeps drawing in more and more viewers.

In fact, it has been the second most-watched ad-supported cable network for nine straight weeks, and now sports the top eleven cable news programs.

Adding insult to injury, TVNewser reported Tuesday that FNC is now attracting more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined:

Story Continues Below Ad ↓

How’s this for cable news domination - Fox News beat CNN and MSNBC combined in every hour from 6amET to MidnightET in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo for April 2009. [...]

From 9amET on, every program grew by more than 60% in the demo. The 5pmET hour, now occupied by Glenn Beck, is up 212% in the demo and up 128% in Total Viewers. Your World with Neil Cavuto is up 102% in the demo and up 60% in Total Viewers. On the Record with Greta Van Susteren is up 75% in demo and up 55% in Total Viewers. Also in demo: FOX Report is up 75%, Special Report 70%, The O’Reilly Factor 74% and Hannity 64%.

Fox & Friends has now been #1 for 90 consecutive months, Studio B with Shepard Smith for 80 consecutive months.

Awfully impressive, wouldn’t you say? But it gets better, for MediaWeek reported Monday that FNC is gunning to replace USA as the number one cable network:

Naturally, Fox News says that second place isn’t good enough. Even after taking the silver among ad-supported cable in the first quarter of 2009, averaging 2.26 million total viewers to USA Network’s record delivery of 3.26 million, the channel won’t rest until it has reached the summit. In short, FNC wants to win the prime-time ratings crown outright, and as the upfront season approaches, its ad sales team is trumpeting that message to media buyers.

As the Huffington Post reported Tuesday, FNC narrowed the gap further in April averaging 2.350 million total viewers in primetime compared to USA’s 3.044, a difference of only 694,000.

Can you imagine what liberals will think if FNC actually becomes the #1 ad-supported cable network?

Speaking of which, Headline News’s Nancy Grace actually beat MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann this month in the all important 25 to 54-year-old demo.

Nice job, Keith.

For those interested, here are the top 20 cable news program in April:

1. "The O’Reilly Factor" (Fox News): 3,498,000 total viewers
2. "Hannity" (Fox News): 2,566,000 total viewers
3. "Glenn Beck" (Fox News): 2,230,000 total viewers
4. "On the Record with Greta van Susteren" (Fox News): 2,173,000 total viewers
5. "Special Report with Bret Baier" (Fox News): 2,047,000 total viewers
6. "The Fox Report with Shepard Smith" (Fox News): 1,915,000 total viewers
7. "The O’Reilly Factor" (Fox News, repeat): 1,723,000 total viewers
8. "Your World with Neil Cavuto" (Fox News): 1,520,000 total viewers
9. "America’s Newsroom" (Fox News): 1,505,000 total viewers
10. "Studio B with Shepard Smith" (Fox News): 1,314,000 total viewers
11. "Happening Now" (Fox News): 1,247,000 total viewers
12. "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" (MSNBC): 1,237,000 total viewers
13. "The Live Desk" (Fox News): 1,210,000 total viewers
14. "Larry King Live" (CNN): 1,093,000 total viewers
15. "Anderson Cooper 360" (CNN): 1,058,000 total viewers
16. "The Rachel Maddow Show" (MSNBC): 1,042,000 total viewers
17. "Situation Room" (CNN): 898,000 total viewers
18. "Lou Dobbs Tonight" (CNN): 826,000 total viewers
19. "Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull" (CNN): 786,000 total viewers
20. "CNN Newsroom" (CNN): 725,000 total viewers

Fox is #1 Cable News for a reason. They tell both sides.

Of course he and the libs want to shut it down. You have heard of the "Fairness Doctrine?"

Finally, instead of contacting customers after event… put communicate with customers (or use the term client) after event… Best to you in your quest!!!

I am primarily a batsman but of late due to average form, I have been given a few chances with the ball, these chances have gone really well and I have discovered a new facet to my game. However I only can really bowl a few balls offering little variation other than my stock delivery, I bowl medium pace (when feeling especially energetic a tad faster LOL) and am looking to learn some more deliveries. Can anyone help me out? I am not a new cricketer, I have been playing for as long as I can remember, however bowling is new to me, I know the effects of bowling different balls where I am a batsman, but have no clue how to bowl them.

Currently I bowl a cross seamed delivery which ‘Pops’ up off the seam offering the edge of the bat it also slows when I do this.

My other ball currently is one where I roll my wrist over the ball and let it out of the side of my hand where my index finger and thumb is opposed to out the back of the hand, this ball spins and slows, it might be a form of off-cutter again I am clueless :L

Please give me ideas for slower balls, cutters, seamers anything that I can give ago. If you have read all of this you have done well! Thanks in advance!

If you want to ball pace, you need a lot of practice to be consistent.

Cos ur a primarily batsman, id suggest going into spin.

Spin bowling because ther no real rules, its free. watever feels comfotable in ur hand that releases the ball to allow it to spin is excellent.

I bowl pace and spin.

In my spin i let the ball out from the side of my hand, its an excellent technique for spin, the only problem is that its difficult to control the spin and accuracy tough that way. But its very effective and it shouldnt take really long to get it right.

But cos im a better pace bowler, ill giv u some tips thatll help u in pace, and maybe in spin too.

1 - Give yourself a permenant run up, meaning, dont keep changing the lenght of ur run up. keep it the same. the same, the better, the faster ull get used to it.

2- know where exactly you wanna bowl before each ball, keep your eyes on the spot you want the ball to hit.

3- Breathe in before each bowl, take ur time, its cricket, not soccer.

4- dont panic at all, be relaxed, dont be preassurized.

5 - when release, for better aim, have your arm slide accross ur ear. itll help u aim. experiment with it and ull se what i mean. the bowling arm that is.

6 - Use the most comfortable technique to hold the ball. i suggest 2 fingers and thumb on the seam. its most ’seaming full’ and accurate.

If u wanna throw a slow ball, u can try holdin the ball with your whole hand. that way, its slower wen u release it. Or u can try releasin the ball from the backside of the hand, but thats difficult to master.

Personally, i always wanted to go into spin, cause it can get extremely fun and addicive wen u find the batsmens weakness. Spin comes natrually, a lazy person can master it, whereas pace needs practice every week to master. Spins as effective as pace. Anyways, hve fun.

Hello Ladies,

I am new to this board, but have what is likely to be a strange question. I have three children,7, 3.5 and 1.5. Each of my dd’s were preemies, 36w, 32w, and 31w1d. I had a tl in late March ‘06, not because I didn’t want another baby, but because I didn’t want to have another preemie.

A week and a half ago I started having strange dreams. One specifically stands out. My Nana, who has been deceased for nearly three years, "came" to me in this dream and told me that I am pregnant with twins and to remember how much everyone around me is going to give up so that I can have these babies. Each dream after that one has pointed to me being pregnant. (Each time I get pregnant I dream it first, in some fashion or another, and the dreams progress until delivery. Also, the dreams always start shortly after conception, which would be the case in this situation as well.)

My last AF was 01/01/2007-01/07/2007 (my periods are normally 3 to 5 weeks long and very heavy since my tl) and was medium to light flow. Because my AF’s are so weird (normal for me now) I don’t even know when I would be due for my next AF.

What I’m looking for is advice on how to handle this situation and if anyone else has had dreams like mine that preceed pregnancy?

Any help will be greatly appreciated and received.

Thanks

wow. that is interesting.
I did not find out I was pregnant until I was 10 days past my cycle. But I had the strangest dreams right from the time of conception.
None that pointed out my pregnancy. But just very vivid, different dreams. So unreal what the body can do.
I hope that everything works out ok for you. If you have twins on the way I wish you the best and I hope you can enjoy and embrace this as it comes.
You are already a wonderful mother…you can handle this. Be strong, take deep breaths.
Good luck. Wishing the best for you.

I am owner a small specialty pastry company and have a fleet of 15 international step vans (like the ones used for UPS and FedEx). I am having problems with the brakes wearing out way too quickly; they only seem to last about 15,000 miles. This has become a huge expense for me in maintenance costs and I need something that last longer (a lot longer if possible). I am not a mechanic – I am a pastry chef. I outsource the servicing of my fleet to a local shop known for working on medium duty trucks and the owner tells me there’s nothing better than the semi metallic pads he is supplying. I really think he just wants the markup. He (reluctantly) has agreed to allow me to supply him with the pads because I threatened to find a new shop with better products. I only hope someone can help recommend something that is proven to last longer than the measly 15,000 miles I’m getting now. Please help!

Sounds like you may have to talk to your drivers and slow them down a little bit.Brakes are only as good as the drivers that use them

i’m doing my ba hons degree in television production and am looking at potential courses to do for post grad, as well as places. like in england, but would like to go to california.

Hi Liam,

I don’t know about schools in England, but maybe I can help you with American schools. First off, there are many film schools in the states. Most are pretty bad. The few famous ones owe their reputation mostly because of the few famous directors who were once students there.

On the West Coast, there is USC and UCLA. I had just graduated from New York University’s Film School (in 1995) and since I was looking for a graduate program in film, I visited both. In terms of tuition, they were both ridiculously expensive then, they are worse now. Now the differences: USC, former home of Spielberg, Lucas… works like this: one student gets to make a film, the rest of the class has to work on it. Since film schools are just as corrupt as Hollywood itself, who knows who will be directing, and who will be carrying equipment… When I found out about that, USC was out of the question. UCLA, former home of Coppola, had just closed their undergraduate film program, but the graduate school was still going. However, I looked at the curriculum, and it was identical to my undergraduate curriculum at NYU,,. So I thought, what’s the point?

So I came back to the East Coast, to my old school NYU (former home of Scorsese, Spike Lee, Stone, Jarmush, and myself :)) and checked out their graduate program. Again, it was the exact same thing as the undergraduate one. What I found out was graduate film schools were basically for students who had studied something else first, like English, History, Philosophy and who wanted to apply their knowledge to film.

The best thing about famous film school for me was not the program, not the teachers, but the students you get to meet. These schools are super selective, so if you can somehow get in, you are going to meet some really cool, talented, and borderline insane students. That created an awesome atmosphere where we all learned from each other, we all shared the same passion (no limits on how long we could talk about movies…), and we all pushed each other to do the best we could.

The bad things: tuition price, having to pay for your films on top of the tuition (a decent thesis is going to cost around $20-30,000), corruption within the administration and faculty, pretty low quality of the classes, not very good teachers, 1% chance you’ll be doing what you wanted to do when you graduate, 0.01% chance if what you wanted to do is direct movies.

To sum it up, you have two options:

Option 1: Go to film school, spend 4 x $50,000 + $25,000 (thesis, if you get picked) = $225,000, win a couple festivals, and get your first job as a PA unless your dad is a producer.

If that’s your decision, then what school you want to go to depends on what kind of films you want to make. If you want to work on big Hollywood productions, go to UCLA. If you’re more of a Scorsese type or European filmmaker (and you’d rather go to a school located at the heart of New York City instead of a campus) go to NYU.

Option 2: Don’t go to film school, use the $225,000 to make a feature film, and who knows, if it’s good and fairly commercial, you just might get a distributor, and funding for your next feature film.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
