I need a good video camera for documentary filming?
whats a good camera for documentary making, most filming will be outside in the outback.
What is your budget?
Are you including mics, tripod, extra rechargeable batteries, cases?
Will power to recharge the batteries be available? Will you need a solar charger or generator? Is this in your budget too?
Will lenses be needed?

Budget is number one?
500-1000 1000-4000 4000-up
HD or std definition, media Tape, HDD, media card.
How much filming are you going to do at a time a few hours, full day, one or more days.
will you have access to power source, (charging) if not then you need to take batteries or have a battery belt, there are so many questions that you need to supply, especially if you plan to make a high quality result.
Re ask the question with the adde details maybe we can help
