Should Indian cricketers be made to do less commercial advertising and concentrate on cricket?
I feel that maybe these guys spend too much time in front of the camera instead of concentrating on their chosen sport and it shows. What are your comments on this

You bet. I am tried of seeing Donkey’s face everytime I turn on the idiot box. He speaks english in such an amusing accent that most of the time I cant help but laugh my butt off. You should have seen that Aircel ad by Dhoni. He should join the circus with Harbhajan and Sreesanth.

BTW standing in front of cameras is additional talent which is very rare with most other cricketers!

WELL IT A ANOTHER WAY FOR THEM TO MAKE MONEY.FOR THEM ITS IMPORTANT THAN CRICKET.DID U SEE DHONI AND HARBHAJAN WE NOMINATED FOR THE PRESIDENT AWARD AND THEY DID NIT COME BECAUSE OF THEIR SHOOT FOR A PEPSI AD.IT IS DIDGRACEFUL SO SEE THEM BEHAVE LIKE THIS BUT THEY PUT HARD WORK INTO CRICKET AND THATS WHY THEY HAVE HIGHER RANKINGS.

Their doing so they can promote cricket and increase reputation, Australians do ads too and there doing for the reputation sake.

Yes, that is also a reason but i don’t think that team India lacked match practice.. They do play good cricket, they beat Sri Lanka quite well in India just a few weeks back, but i think when it comes to bigger series’, India have some sort of a psychological thing… The team is powerful but the players seem to get under pressure in finals.. A solution must be sought by Indian authorities soon before the WC..
