I find it … I find it interesting only because I’ve never seen this particular conceit done seriously before now. It’s still horribly sexist and offensive, but compared to the shallow comedic presentation I’ve seen all my life thanks to older cartoons and such, this is -almost- refreshing. Almost, of course, is the key word.
Why wouldn’t people … Why wouldn’t people take a Canadian seriously? At least they’re more civilised them many Americans living in the middle of no where.
Yup, it’s true. … Yup, it’s true. It’s actually kinda cool how many of the things stay “deactivated” instead of “removed” when the embryo gets modified from a female into a male during development.
learn & don’t want … learn & don’t want to.I think if you r in charge of a vehicle u should at least have the basics under yo belt, learnt perhaps in the driving test. Women who refuse to learn basics for driving are imo stepford wife types who will flutter, wiggle etc to get a guy to do it for them.People treat me oddly as I will do my own exhaust, simple stuff like small components n I hate being under a car on my own so I have to make sure my stands are adequate. Some women and men seem to struggle reversing too.
A previous comment … A previous comment states women have a hard job changing a tyre presume they mean wheel as I dont know any1 who carries a tyre-changer round with them. Yes a lot of females have no problem ‘playing the helpless woman’ to get guys to change a flatty at the roadside. Yet there are some of us who will do it ourselves, I for one would never call my breakdown service for a fkin flat tyre, I no many females may not no how to properly jack a car for wheel change simply cos they havent bothered to …
Oh darling thank … Oh darling thank god you’re here at last, now I am safe. I’d never have noticed my car wheel was nearly hanging off the car until a big strong, always right, unable to nurture, missing the cleaning gene man arrived to point it all out in very basic language for my simple woman-brain to comprehend. Now let’s do hurry home so I can freshen up and don my ’sexy’ lingerie enabling me to feed your gender-stereotyped thought processes.
You don’t have to … You don’t have to take my word for it. Read the Wikipedia article on male lactation. Read the sources quoted there.
Of course it is much easier for women to produce milk. Pregnancy starts the lactation process automatically. Men have to do other things to trigger it.
I haven’t learned exactly how they do it, because I have no plans to try any of those methods myself. I just find it interesting that most people’s umptions on this subject give them an incomplete picture of the truth.
are you mental? … are you mental? that’s the most ridiculous tripe I’ve ever seen.
Joshbluefan is correct… and you are whack,
Please, please show me a father who has quit his career and stayed home to breastfeed the kids.
Joshbluefan, you’ll … Joshbluefan, you’ll probably hate me for giving you this information — because once it is learned, it cannot be unlearned — but, scientifically speaking, men CAN breastfeed.
The mammary glands that produce milk are present in men, not just in women. Given proper stimulation, there are many documented cases showing that a man can also produce milk. If you don’t believe me, there’s even a Wikipedia article with good sources on the subject: “male lactation” is the title.
First of all men … First of all men and woman are biologically different. Woman have the gift of nurture where as men have the gift of strength!
Secondly the feminists have taken the nobility away from woman who enjoy looking after their children and running a household; with the woman working ‘trying to be equal’ neglecting their children, now the question you ask why cant men look after the children, BECAUSE MEN CANT BREASTFEED! And there is always a maternal bond between a mother and her baby
What’s upper body … What’s upper body strength got to do with motor skills? If anything, woman have been proven to be better at multi-tasking and co-operation. Whereas most crashes or road rage incidents seem to be caused by guys.
take into account … take into account the year this commercial was made. it’s strictly an emotional appeal playing on the fear men have that their wives could be unsafe with tires that aren’t as good. men were and remain the primary target audience for buying tires. it goes both ways - look at today’s commercials which make men out to be idiots. 2 examples>> “Do You Want Whipped Cream?” Verizon Wireless Commercial or even cheerio’s multi grain “box says shut up steve” commercial.
what a sexist and … what a sexist and dumb video. woman are just as good as men. because of a few women who didnt know how to drive, peoples think all women are like that.
It’s true, though. … It’s true, though. All women need help. It’s why they can’t lift heavy objects and such. She probably started crying because the car steering wheel isn’t a baby irl.
