666…warning to all christian.. the last days are here!!?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we all can see the end time is already here. When you receive this message, please forward it to everyone you know; it is the most important message for everyone before the Rapture and those left behind. Please do print this message and share it with as many as you can. Anyone who calls themselves a Christian and has no desire to witness to souls, this is the saddest thing to our Lord because He died for our souls, PRAISE THE LORD.
Choo Thomas
MARK OF THE BEAST (666)
RFID
"He required everyone - great and small, rich and poor, slave and free - to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. Wisdom is needed to understanding this. Let the one who has understanding solve the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666" (Rev. 13:16-18 New Living Translation).
666 IS A SYSTEM OF THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT
At the present time, computer-assisted biometric identification systems are being developed rapidly and have been readily accepted into our society. Miniature computer chips, using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, have already been embedded within electronic appliances, retail goods, livestock, and human beings. This is not tomorrow’s science fiction
- it is happening today.
In many parts of the world, Applied Digital Corporation’s human implanted RFID microchip (VeriChip) is used to help diagnose Alzheimer’s disease, mental illness, Diabetes, heart problems and it also helps to prevent kidnappings. In the near future, this type of biochip will be widely accepted and implanted for personal identification, protection, monitoring, tracking, commerce, and other uses not yet imagined.
Unfortunately, such biochips store personal identification and the information generated from its use will be stored and maintained in a computer database. Your body becomes a tagged asset that is monitored and whose behavior will be tracked. Implanting the microchip in the body alters a person’s physically, mentally and ultimately - spiritually. The problem that arises from the use of biochip in humans is more than an aesthetic, medical, political, or legal issue.
Satan works in the world and he shapes people and society to achieve his goals. Knowingly or not, anti-christ will force people to follow and obey an agenda that appears to be in the best interest of its people but, in following the pattern of human history and man’s rebellion to God, will bring about pain and suffering until Christ comes again.
"…he [satan's agent] deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people of the world to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. He was permitted to give life to this stature so that it could speak. Then the statue commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die." (Rev 13vs14-15 New Living
Translation).
A time is coming when society and lives will be ruled by a self-imposed system where mankind is monitored, analyzed, measured, and evaluated by computers. In those times, anyone who refuses to accept this system will be tortured then killed.
FORMATION OF A UBIQUITOUS SOCIETY
We are moving towards a ubiquitous society where people from all walks of life can access anything, anywhere, and at anytime regardless of time and location. The implementations of RFID technology in retail stores is one example. It’s estimated that the majority of retail merchandise will use RFID technology within 1 or 2 years (as of 2005) and will replace bar codes, which have been used for the past 30 years.
What drives such development is the belief that we will live safer, easier, richer and more enjoyable lives by using technology to manage everyday aspects of daily life. In a society that craves automated financial management, instant communication and security, it’s not a far stretch for RFID enabled biochips to be implanted into the body, and eventually replacing currency that is easily stolen, lost, or hidden. In the near future:
1) All people will be required to have a biochip. All economic operations will use this chip thereby replacing today’s unit of monetary exchange.
2) There will be privacy invasion and freedom will cease to exist.
3) A charismatic leader, who is the Anti-Christ, will rule the whole world through a system that is interconnected and interdependent.
MARK OF THE BEAST IN THE HUMAN BODY, WE MUST NOT RECEIVE IT. (REV 14VS9,
14VS11, 16VS2)
1) Accepting this mark is the irreversible act of selling your soul to Satan. This sin is unforgivable and cannot be reversed by physically removing the mark (Rev. 14:9-11). Your soul belongs to God. Therefore if you receive this mark, you then will belong to Satan.
2) If you receive this mark, you willfully placing your faith in man and not in God.

My computer won’t play any sound!?

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

I have a Sony Vaio VGC-RA826G(UC) and im running windows 7. My sound was working fine, till about a month ago it suddenly went out. My computer says their is no sound problem and my sound botton on the right of the screen if active while playing any sound. I initially tried system restore, no luck. I then tried updating my sound driver, it was "already up to date". I tried uninstalling " Microsoft High Difinition Audio Device" and reinstalling, nothing. I then tried changing sound drivers. I downloaded and installed "Realtek High Difinition Audio Driver", still no luck. Im pretty mad by now so i tried checking out the obious, cable connection, playback devices, volume control… but nothing had any effect. So now im online looking for some leads, I ran into a website that suggested updating my bios? I went to sony’s support site and they have a XP bios update, tried installing it but it says it cant install becuase it decects im not running XP! I also ran into a website that suggested enabling or disabling the onboard sound in bios, but i couldnt find such thing it my bios. Need help with assignment?

Friday, October 9th, 2009

I was given the assignment to make a tows matrix using the swot analysis of an indian watch company ‘HMT’ Below is the swot analysis of HMT can anyone please make a tows matrix of swot analysis below.Best answer 10 pts :)

SWOT analysis of HMT:

Strengths:

Mechanical watches: HMT is the market leader in mechanical watches which serves to the lower segment of the society. HMT has a strong hold in this segment but to make sure that players like titan and timex do not occupy the stance HMT needs to do its homework.

Brand equity: HMT has a very strong brand image. People know HMT because of its quality and reliability.

Production and training facility: production facility is flexible enough to adapt to new technologies. Training program is one of the best in the country.

Industrial relations: company has very good industrial relations. Till today company did not encounter any kind of labor or industrial relations problem which can put company in to jeopardy.

Adequate assets: company has commensurate amount of land, building and machinery available.

Weaknesses:

No emphasis on R&D and design: HMT did not pay much attention to aesthetics and design. While its competitor titan kept innovating its products with latest technology, features and design, HMT was still grappling with its basic design models.

Retailer policy: HMT did not have control measures over its retailers; hence they lost control over prices and the trade.

Lack of team spirit and awareness: HMT’s motivational strategies-punishment/reward have been inadequate, resulting in low utilization of human and machine capacities.

Trade audits: No regular trade audit was being carried out by the company to check what was actually happening in the market.

Management levels: The ground level HMT staff has nearly six rungs of bureaucracy to go through before a general manager in sales or marketing could take a field decision.

Opportunities:

Diversification of products: there are good diversification possibilities in products. Apart from mechanical watches HMT can also focus on anadigi, digiana, multifunction, digital, stopwatch, alarm, thin etc.

Exports: export market can be tapped.

Market segmentation: company can expand the market launching products suitable for different customer profiles e.g.: youth, gift fashion, sports, novelty etc.

Enlarge network of sale outlets: An effective distribution system is mandatory for company’s success.

Product improvement: Company can manufacture product based on current customer preferences, combining technology and aesthetic appeal together to enhance the experience.

Threats:

From competitors: titan, timex, citizen, swatch etc.

Spurious operators: People who indulge in fraudulent activities. Misusing the brand name.

Authorized service agents: For foreign smuggled watches.

Regional players: With their cheap prices and availability.

Unorganized manufacturing.

You really are kind of asking for your work to be done in this question. I mean, sure I can do it, but in taking my answer would you learn anything and be able to do it for yourself in any future case? No. The best way of understanding the four sectors of a TOWS matrix are to look for answers to these questions - use these to apply to your case and you should manage to get some answers out and thus benefit.

Strengths and Opportunities (SO) - How can you use your strengths to take advantage of the opportunities?

Strengths and Threats (ST) - How can you take advantage of your strengths to avoid real and potential threats?

Weaknesses and Opportunities (WO) - How can you use your opportunities to overcome the weaknesses you are experiencing?

Weaknesses and Threats (WT) - How can you minimize your weaknesses and avoid threats?

Help! What class should I take?

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Were choosing tomorrow.
I narrowed it down to 5:
Computer Graphics I & II:

COMPUTER GRAPHICS 1
The purpose of this course is to learn how to create art and original graphics on the computer. Time spent in this course will be divided among learning Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Students will also learn how to scan images and apply concepts of digital photography.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS 2
This art course is a continuation of the concepts covered in Computer Graphics 1. Students will continue to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop but will also have the opportunity to explore computer animation using Flash, 3D Graphics using Bryce.

Personal Budgeting & Finance:

This course is designed for the student who has an interest in obtaining an understanding of how business transactions work in our everyday environment. It will cover topics such as personal money management, banking techniques, financial services, taxes, the stock market, and investment services. The student will develop skills in practical and valuable areas that have personal applications with currency by use of assorted materials and simulations.

College Accounting:

This course will provide a solid foundation of accounting concepts and principles. It presents the accounting cycle for service and merchandising activities of a sole proprietorship; special journals and ledgers, accrued and deferred items, cash, receivables, and inventories. Students will be recording, summarizing, interpreting financial data for partnerships and corporations. Also included are clash flows, long-term liabilities, plant assets and payroll accounting. General ledger and/or spreadsheet computerized accounting is also used. Students taking this class may have the opportunity to receive 3 college credits through a local community college.

International Business:
International Business is designed to introduce students to business principles in a global marketplace. Students will identify business operations in other countries and the challenge created by those differences to Americans trying to conduct business in foreign nations. This will allow students to develop an awareness of cultural differences of countries involved in international trade and relate the importance of business in today’s society. Students will explore and identify international business careers and create and International Business Plan.

Well you might have to take Computer Graphics 1 before Computer Graphics 2. Personal Budgeting and Finance sounds good if you’re good at math, and College Accounting is pretty good for learning about money and whatnot… I say if you liked taking a foreign language then International Business is what you should do. If it was me I think I’d do International Business.

Are we over-informationized? What’s your information consumption?

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

I find that when I indulge in TOO MUCH information - such as snarfing down gobs and gobs of current event articles on Iraq and Peak Oil, researching GMAT test strategies, devling into digital asset and media rights management, or surfing experimental film clips on youtube until the wee hours of the morning, I don’t sleep and feel totally anxious the next day. Its like I binge on information, overdose, and then have trouble purging! I wonder if there is a maximum capacity for daily information consumption? What is your daily information consumption?

Yes. That’s why I never watch/listen TV. I get my information from radio and Internet and lots of time I just keep the machines off. There are just too many talking heads in this world and many of them really have nothing to say. I would rather know what is true and relevent. Stop the noise!

An idiomatic expression (need your help)?

Current TV, the youth-oriented cable network that Gore launched last August, has been picked up by Comcast for its digital tier, and will reach 17 million homes as of this week, says Gores’s business partner Joel Huatt. The network is in negotiations with cable systems in France, Germany and Italy, and expects to achieve the relatively rare feat of becoming profitable in its first year. Says Hyatt: "We are just on fire." Additionally, Gore has begun a London-based equity firm with former Goldman Sachs Asset Management CEO David Blood. It’s a partnership that, despite its nickname Blood & Gore, aims to invest in socially responsible ventures.

All this would be hard to walk away from. Or, looked at another way, it would be a good source of seed money for a return to politics. Gore boasts of [moving the needle] in the climate-change debate, but he conceded in his New York appearance, "Look, I’m under no illusion that the office of the President is second to none in its ability to make changes and get things done."

Note [moving the needle]. Could anyone explain it in a simple way?
so, "moving the needle" is a simile here, right?
To christopher: How did you know there are two sides, man made global warming and naturally occurring warming cycle, since the whole context does not talk about the both?

it is a simile and simply means adding pressure or putting pressure on the issue

other terms might be:
upping the ante
raising the temperature
running the meter
going for the gold
leveraging the lobbyists
converting conservatives
