Is the Roland MV8800 Production Studio very user friendly?

Friday, August 28th, 2009

If compared to the Akai MPC2500, MPC3000 or MPC4000

let’s just say this, when i sat down on it for the first time this afternoon at guitar center, i guess you could say i felt like rza "after five mintues on the mv, i was hooked". i was leanin towards the mpc2500 for quite some time, but in terms of being "user friendly" the mpc isn’t even close. go toy around w/ one at the store before you make a purchase tho. if i wouldn’t have sat on the mv for a few minutes, i probly would have bought an mpc without knowing. gl

What is post production?

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Does anyone know if post production means before they begin filming or finished filming and it is in the state of editing before being released?

It’s anything that happens after the filming has been completed. It usually involves editing and sometimes inserting CGI, and recording the soundtrack (for some films, musicals usually, the soundtrack is recorded before they start shooting).

corporation will be the next one bailed out?

Or is that it? Will we be eating bread on the streets lining up for a hours work for a few pennies like in the 1930s or is there a media bash up going on? Whos behind this panic and propaganda? Will they be behind us in the food lines?

Will we still have internet and home delivery pizza with those nice little fishy things on them?

Here’s what makes me excited……..With my tax dollars, I’m giving corporate America a loan on bad credit for zero interest so they can turn around and raise the interest rates on my mortgage, car note, student loans, etc. to recoup their losses. Isn’t that just SUPER awesome!?

Another answerer asked, who’s fault is it? You know what, I for one don’t believe the government should have bailed out any of them. Sure, people’s retirements would have been affected. But you know what, we’d all know who is to blame, wouldn’t we. We’re never "allowed" to blame corporate America. Afterall, our society is built upon capitalism, right? Work hard, pick yourself up by the bootstraps and make your own way - is what they say. So when we have to pay more for goods and services, how dare I blame corporate America. They’re just out to make a buck, just like me. Instead, we blame the high cost of whatever we buy on the high cost of energy, or labor. It’s not their fault, they’re just hard working Joe’s like me. They have no choice but to charge me $6 for a gallon of milk because diesel is $5 a gallon. Just passing it on. And when a pharmaceutical company decides a drug is fit for use, then 10 years later it kills half of all who take it, we can blame the studies. Those screwy scientists told poor ol’ glaxo smilth cline the medicine was good to go. Gotta love that FDA, huh?

WHATEVER.

But you know something, having hundreds of thousands of people’s 401k’s and Roth IRA’s hit the shitcan would sure get their attention, wouldn’t it? Then maybe just ONCE, we could assign the blame where it belongs - NOT the whitehouse - NOT congress - NOT John McCain - NOT Barrack Obama - NO, the blame lies with crooked corporate America. Why shouldn’t we let their bank accounts go negative? Mine does all the freakin time. And no one bails me out, or offers to reset my credit. Guess I don’t work hard enough, huh…..

How much would a professional advertising agent get paid for a real commercial?

Friday, August 28th, 2009

I’ve been asked to do a simple commercial by a local car dealership. I’m not in the advertising business, and really have no qualifications, but they asked me to do it and I did. Since I’m not exactly qualified, how much do you think I should charge for it?

as a freelancer/no background! i think half of the professional price will be suited for you! but they are so clever! because it is so expensive for them to hire an advertising agncy to do the campaign! charge half of a pro’s price! dont worry because at the end the credit is on you! if it does have good feedbacks then they’ll get u again, that’s the time that you can name your price!

What topic will fit for teenagers in making a documentary?

Friday, August 28th, 2009

We have a project in English subject. We are tasked to make a short documentary film. I don’t have an idea of what topic will catch the attention of the viewers. Give me a topic that will please the audience. We really want to win in this documentary festival.
I had an experienced in movie making because when I was in junior year we had an movie festival and I won the best director, best picture and best actress for my co-actress. I am just confused of what topic will I make for the documentary. I hope you will help me.

get a topic that has a strong message and will capture people’s hearts. maybe about animal abuse in local shelters, the homeless conditions in your area. if you catch the true heartache, you’ll get people’s attention.
