The song was made with the FL Studio 8 Demo, using Sytrus and 3XOSC synths and included patches. The video was made so you wouldn’t have to stare at just one pic. Instead, there are ten pictures with a bunch of effects (first time with Windows Media, went crazy)!

Album: Unearthed

E.S. Posthumus is an independent music group that produces cinematic style music. It is a form of epic classical that fuses intertwined drum beats with orchestral and electronic sounds. Their music is inspired by the Pythagorean Philosophy which states that “music is the harmonization of opposites; the conciliation of warring elements”. The E.S. is an acronym for “Experimental Sounds” while Posthumus is a word that represents “all things past”.

According to the group, E.S. Posthumus was formed in 2000 by brothers Helmut and Franz Vonlichten. Helmut and Franz studied piano with their mother. After graduating from high school, Franz worked in recording studios while Helmut attended and graduated from UCLA, with a degree in archaeology.

E.S. Posthumus’ music has been licensed by many movie and television production studios; being included in numerous movie trailers and television shows. For instance, the song “Posthumus Zone” was composed for the CBS Sports TV programs The NFL Today and The NFL on CBS. E.S. Posthumus have so far released two albums.

mean is say for instance can the movie studio or production company have the last say over the producer(s) on many decisions that is to be made. Also does the movie studio or production oversee every aspect of the movie?

The main producer(s) of a movie often work for the movie studios. So the chairman of the studio DOES have any final say. This is true for big budget Hollywood movies. Lesser, Independent or ‘B’ movies can sometimes be produced by private investors, who in-turn become the producers and have the final say. They will then sell their movie to the bigger studios (this is what happens at Sundance Festivale every year) OR they will independently make a deal with a big distributor to release the movie at theatres, dvd, cable and pay-per-views. good question

I graduated with a BA in Film/Video and am having a tough time finding work. My school didn’t help much in the way of preparing me for a film/tv job search. I’m lost

Be prepared to move to a city where jobs are available. Otherwise, be willing to take any job with a broadcaster or TV production facility and work toward the position you want. There are lots of communications graduates, so you have lots of competition. Therefore, it makes the most sense to be flexible about where you work and what work you do. Also, don’t rule out corporate or educational TV facilities. Pay is particularly good in corporate TV and benefits are excellent at ecucational facilities.

I’m a freshman in high school and want to persue a career in television and film production. I don’t know exactly what I want to do, but right now my "dream", if you want to call it that, is to work at Fuse. So I’m asking for tips on ways to start getting into this field, maybe school or camp reccomendations. Thanks in advance!
